After just under 18 months of construction, Whitman Hospital & Medical Center moved into its newly constructed facility on Oct. 20, 2008.  Features include a new 25-bed inpatient floor, which allows for private rooms, along with two luxurious labor and delivery rooms.  In addition, the three-story structure also houses new Radiology, Laboratory, Emergency and Therapy Service Centers.

Phase 2 construction began mid-November 2008 and included a complete remodel of spaces for Respiratory Therapy, Pharmacy, Business Office, Health Information Management (Medical Records), and Cafeteria and Dining.  Construction for Phase 2 was completed in late summer 2009.
