Community Outreach

We offer a variety of community services via classes, programs, and training seminars. Among these are:

Hospital Week
Nutritional Counseling
Diabetic Education Classes
Childbirth Classes
"SAIL" Strength and Balance Fitness Classes
Water Aerobics

The Hospital Auxiliary also provides community service with their annual Garden Sale as well as through sales at the Bluebird Gift Shop. They are open from 9am to 4pm and located in the lobby of Whitman Hospital and Medical Center. Another organization dedicated to hospital improvement is the Whitman Hospital Foundation who, through its annual Whitman Hospital Dinner and Auction, provides another outreach source for the hospital.
