WHMC Moves Ahead with $19 Million Building Project

Thanks to the support demonstrated by our hospital district voters during last September's primary election, Whitman Hospital & Medical Center is able to proceed with its $19 million building project. Voter approved bonds total $13.6 million with an additional $5.4 million in revenue bonds to be repaid from hospital operations.

Manager Of The Year

Lori Schmidt, Respiratory Therapy Manager, was presented the hospital's 2007 "Manager of the Year" award by Chief Clinical Officer, Deena Rauch and Administrator, Jon Davis.  Lori was employed by the hospital in 2000.  She is recognized for bringing Respiratory Therapy coverage from eight hours per day Monday through Friday to a fully staffed twenty-four/seven department.  Congratulations Lori!!

Employee Of The Quarter

Dave Field, Respiratory Therapist, was chosen as the 2007 "Employee of the Year" and received his award from Chief Clinical Officer, Deena Rauch and Respiratory Therapy Manager, Lori Schmidt. Dave has been with WHMC since 2005.  His knowledge, work ethic, and leadership qualities are outstanding.  Congrats Dave!!

Tricia Hinnenkamp, Medical Insurance Biller, was chosen as WHMC's "Employee of the Quarter" for the second quarter of 2008.  Tricia has been with WHMC since 2004.  She is enthusiastic, helpful, and always has a positive attitude.  Congrats Tricia!!
